Who is this marathon for?
This marathon is for experienced dancers who:
- Enjoy socialising as much as social dancing
- Love dancing for hours and exploring different musical moods
- Value respect, consent, and helping create a welcoming dance floor
Food & drinks
- Drinks: Water will be available throughout the event, with coffee and tea on Saturday and Sunday.
- Snacks: Fruit, chocolate, cake, and other treats are included.
- Meals: Meals are not included in the pass. You’ll find restaurants nearby with a range of cuisines and prices.

When and where is Berlin Zouk Marathon?
The marathon takes place on 5–7 February 2027 in Berlin, Germany. Saturday and Sunday are at Haus der Sinne. Friday’s venue will be announced.
Who is the marathon for?
This event is for experienced Brazilian Zouk dancers who enjoy long hours of social dancing, exploring different musical moods and helping create a respectful, welcoming dance floor.
How many dancers can attend?
The marathon is limited to 120 dancers. The organisers review applications to curate an intimate event and balance dance roles and experience levels.
How much social dancing is planned?
Expect 35 hours of social dancing. Friday’s party runs from 22:00 to 05:00. Saturday and Sunday run from 12:00 to 02:00, with two dance floors at Haus der Sinne.
How much does a pass cost?
The regular price is €115. Last-minute passes cost €130 if places are still available.
Is the Surprise Teacher masterclass included?
No. The Friday masterclass with Surprise Teacher costs €35 and requires a separate ticket. It is scheduled from 19:00 to 21:30, before the opening party.
How do I register?
Click Register or Apply to Attend to complete the Berlin Zouk Marathon application form. Tell the organisers about your dance role and experience so they can review your application.
Does applying guarantee my place?
Submitting the form does not automatically guarantee a place. The organisers review applications and confirm registration by email, including the next steps for securing your ticket.
Why are applications reviewed?
The organisers want to keep the marathon cosy, role-balanced and welcoming. Applications are checked to help maintain the right mix of experience, balance and atmosphere.

When will the DJ lineup and further details be announced?
More details about the schedule and DJs will be announced on this page. Friday’s venue is still to be announced.
Food
Soft drinks are included: tea, coffee, water will be available Saturday and Sunday.
You can buy drinks in the venue.
Snacks are included: we’ll offer healthy and less healthy snacks (fruit, chocolate, cakes and other yummy little things.
Meals are not included in the pass, but there are many restaurants just a short walk away from the venue for proper meals.
